A lot of things happen for a reason (I think so anyhow...like my alarm clock magically not working for 2 days in a row, costing me to miss one of my classes and have to make up notes, and having to ask the kid next to me for them...now I've got at least one person up here who I can talk to a little). But not everything, lol...like little things, such as you dropping a soda or something, lol.

I am definitely divided. Some things seem to work so perfect that it couldn't be a coincidence for me, but others I can't find a true solid reason.

Many things in my life have happened and I can go days, months, or even years without knowing the reason for them. Things have happened years ago that I still have no answers for, but I trust that, when the time is right, I will find the answers.

I've always felt life was a mixture of things that happen for a reason and things that just happen. But in the end, I guess people just see what they're looking -- or not looking -- for.

I've never really been very religious at ALL, but some things I think happen for a reason. By complete chance, I came across some of my closest friends and managed to hold on to them. (:

christians are hilarious. so are muslims. so is everyone else with a crazy religion.
i can't wait to get comments back for saying that, so, lighten up people! not talking to you, thanks. i'm talking to the poll board. the poll board knows all. THE POLL BOARD SPEAKS ALL.

i chose other because, well, i think everything is random. everything happens depending on what you did before, or what that person did before.
I DON'T KNOW, FUCK IT ALL i just definitely don't believe in ANY "higher powahhh"
:iconidess:
I did say 'religious affiliation aside' XP I didn't plan this poll around a higher power (I'm a secular humanist myelf, so I don't believe in a higher power either), but it is an interesting notion that some things happen to make us stronger or better people. I'm going through a tough time right now and I can't help but wonder if this is happening to help me grow as a person.
But from your description, I would say that your choice on the poll would be 'no' :P You don't think things happen for a reason and you don't think our lives are laid out for us; you just think things happen. That's understandable n.n

I've never really seriously thought about it.

Well, it's kind of hard for me to say "yes" when you want me to set my religious affiliation aside. XD But despite that, I believe in a system of consequences (both good and bad), and believe that for every action, there is a reaction. Perhaps physically, or psychologically, or both, depending on the situation.
