An elk and a young coyote, naturally enemies, form a friendship as they have a nice conversation while travelling across the plains.

Though it seems the conversation is more one-sided... but hey, it's a coyote; who can blame him? ;)


The background is a watercolor painting by myself, the character's lineart is pencil, and the characters are colored digitally.
Elk are awesome o3o There needs to be more drawings of them :heart:

If you like elk do you like red deer? There's a good book called Fire Bringer about a red deer named Rannoch. It's by David Clement-Davies I think.
