This is my entry for furry-paws.com 's 5th birthday art contest!
Admittedly I spent much more time on this than I should've. I thought that the prize was more than 1 day on the front page :S Oh well. It was a nice break from commissions. I hope I'll win, though there are a lot of other great entries I've seen! The blanket turned out like CRAP so please forgive me. I was working on it forever then got fed up with it. I used *ESDA06 's old grass tutorial for the grass, so kudos to that. This was a good practice in backgrounds, which are pretty nonexistant in my artwork. I hope to change that. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
