My second (ever) watercolor painting, for my Beginning Watercolor class.
This is 100% watercolor. Nothing else was used. It was drawn on Arches 140 lb cold press. The actual size is about 16x21 inches.

A bit better than my previous try at watercolor, IMO. Still some things I don't like much about it.

This is of Chloe, my baby. She is a longhaired dachshund (chocolate piebald).
I'm going to make a print of this and give it to my aunt and uncle for Christmas (They take care of Chloe when I'm gone :) )

They are fun! Though at the same time, frustrating XD I'm very controlling over my watercolors, my teacher is trying to get me to loosen up my technique XD

Your watercolor paintings are truly professional quality - you don't belong in a beginner's class, except perhaps to learn a few techniques you may not have picked up along the way. Awesome job, and keep up the good work!

Well I need to take beginners as a prerequisite for advanced ;D But really, I went into beginners as a true beginner, since I've never done them before.
